Campsite Rules

Camping & Day Use

  • Enjoy your stay for as many as 14 consecutive days
  • Do not build long-term structures without permission
  • Return your site to it’s natural condition before leaving
  • Competitive commercial or group use requires permission
  • Pay camping and other service fees to recreation site operator if applicable

Camping Fees

  • Camping fees are paid for a 24 hour period beginning at 12:00 noon on the day in which camping begins, for a person, family or party of six.
  • Senior rates; must be 65 years or older.  Rate is reduced to 50 percent off the normal fee and applies to the senior and his/her spouse.  ID is required (e.g., driver’s license) to qualify.  Discount is only available on select First Come First Served sites.
  • Persons with Disabilities (PWD) rates; must be designated as a “Persons With Disabilities” and receiving benefits under the BC Employment and Assistance Program.  Rate is reduced to 50 per cent off the normal fee and applies to the person with the disability and his/her spouse.  Income received from other provincial or federal programs such as CPP Disability and WCB Disability, etc are not eligible.  Discount is only available on select First Come First Served sites.
  • There is a $10 visitors fee per vehicle when visiting a registered camper for the day.

Vehicle Policy

  • Maximum one vehicle per party, unless vehicle is towed
  • All other vehicles require payment of an additional camping permit
  • All off-road vehicles must have the required insurance coverage when travelling on Forest Service Roads

Drive Cautiously

  • Maximum speed is 10 km/h
  • All off-road vehicles must idle in/idle out
  • Roads are often used by visitors as paths and play areas
  • Do not drive over vegetation
  • Always properly wear a helmet when riding bikes, dirt bikes and ATVs

Parking

  • Park in designated areas
  • Keep roads clear, do not block traffic
  • Unauthorized vehicles will be towed

Courtesy

  • Respect the peace and quiet of others
  • Obey all posted signs
  • Keep your noise to a minimum including music and generators at all times
  • Obey designated quiet time: 11pm – 7am
  • All guests must exit the site at 10pm as gates are locked between 10pm to 8am unless an emergency
  • Generators may be used 8am – 10pm as needed

No Show Policy - All Sites

  • All reservations are held until 10:00pm of the day you are scheduled to check in.
  • If you have not notified the campground host of late arrival and you have not arrived by 10:00pm the site is considered forfeited.
  • No refund will be provided and your reservation will be cancelled.
